Massive Fire

This massive convection column rising at times up to 33,000 feet in the air was produced by the Raines fire burning on the Payette National Forest by the South Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. While the Loon Lake and Zena Creek fires threaten the town of Warren from the south, the Raines fire threatens to come in from the North.
